Schoology
Schoology is a secure online Learning Management System (LMS) that can be accessed from any computer with internet capabilities. Schoology is used by Teachers and Staff to communicate with students for class information and assignments, announcements, clubs, teams, and activities. All students are given access to Schoology and use it daily. Parents are invited to create an account using your student’s unique Access Code provided in an email from the registrar in early July. This will allow you to “shadow” your student’s progress in their classes- viewing their assignments and the progress of the course. This is slightly different from PowerSchool, which is our official grade book of record. For access to the login page and documentation please click on the links below.
How to Create Your Parent Account
- In a browser, navigate to www.schoology.com.
- In the top right corner of the screen, click Register
- Click Parent
Enter your son’s Parent Access Code: Parent Access Code
Enter your name, email address, and password. Once you log in, you’ll be able to browse your child’s activities by selecting your child’s name from the top right dropdown.
You also have the option to associate additional children using Schoology with this account. To associate additional children, click on the down-facing arrow on the top right of your Schoology account, select Add Child, and enter the unique Parent Access Code for your other child/children.
Schoology also has a mobile app available through Google Play or the App Store. Please note that our “school” is Winton Drive District since both De La Salle and Carondelet share the platform.
