Attendance Policies

Students are expected to attend all classes.

Prompt and regular attendance at school is essential for academic success.

When a student is absent from school, his parent or another person designated by the parent on the student’s emergency form must notify the Attendance Office of this fact before 9:00 a.m. on each day of an absence.

To report a student absence, please call the Attendance Office telephone number at (925) 288-8222. The Attendance Office is open and staffed from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on school days.

Messages may be left on the Attendance Office voicemail 24 hours a day. Parents should include the son’s name, student ID number, grade, and the reason for his absence. Please leave a phone number where you can be reached if needed. If a reply is necessary, parents will be contacted as soon as possible.

If you are looking for additional information on all De La Salle High School attendance policies, please review Section 6.2 of the De La Salle High School Student-Parent Handbook
